Plastering is known to be the messiest trade. I personally have only worked in a domestic setting, meaning cleanliness is paramount. There's no point in skimming a wall to a high level, if you're gonna leave plaster on the skirting board and carpets!
I double layer my sheets, and will never leave any plaster for you to clean up after I'm done.

Covering over Artex
This is by far the majority of my work.
Artex, a decorative coating, may contain asbestos, particularly in properties built or renovated before 1999 when asbestos use was banned in the UK. While asbestos in Artex was often low, typically around 1-4%, it can pose a health risk if disturbed, such as during renovation or maintenance work. If you have Artex in your home and are concerned about asbestos, it's best to have it tested by a professional to determine if asbestos is present.
